WBAI Election Supervisor Resigns
8-23-04

Sent: Monday, August 23, 2004 4:04 PM
Subject: WBAI's elections supervisor

Dear WBAI Community,

Teri Graham has resigned as Local Election Supervisor at WBAI as of Labor Day, Monday, September 6. Until that date, Teri will continue officially in the role of Election Supervisor. After that date, Teri will continue to work on the WBAI election in a not-yet-fully-defined administrative capacity; however, she will not be the Local Election Supervisor.

During the next two weeks, Teri will complete her audit of the various WBAI membership lists, and issue a detailed written report describing the accuracy and reliability of the lists. She will also continue to distribute nomination packets to those requesting them, and to be in touch with everyone about the rules.

However, Teri will not be taking complaints in regard to Fair Campaign Provision violations. We expect to have a new system for monitoring FCP issues in place shortly. In the meantime, I ask all individuals involved with the election to:

1. Continue to monitor the election, and, if you have a complaint, to collect evidence supporting your complaint.
2. Await further instructions about how to proceed in making your complaint.

All members are welcome to call me if you have any questions. I will be back in touch as quickly as possible with further information.

peace
Kenny
