100 people from groups such as the Concerned Caribou, Billionaires for Bush or Gore, Food Not
Bombs, the Direct Action Network, and Concerned Friends of WBAI gathered outside Pacifica Radio Headquarters in Washington DC
to stop the Pacifica Board from corporatizing its listener-sponsored radio stations.
There were speeches from people
such as Rob Robinson, a Board member who is filing a lawsuit against his fellow Board members
for violating Pacifica's own by-laws.
