Interim Pacifica National Board

Thirteen Board Members present constituting a quorum: Teresa Allen, George Barnstone, Pete Bramson, Janice K. Bryant, Leslie Cagan, James Ferguson, Dave Fertig, Ray Laforest, Bert Lee, Rob Robinson, Charles Smith, Carol Spooner, Jabari Zakiya

Also present: Ted Weisgal, Parliamentarian

Board Members Absent: Dick Gregory, Marion Barry joined the call after the vote

Motion by Zakiya, seconded by Robinson, to postpone the June 20-22 ipnb meeting
Passed
12 Yes - Allen, Barnstone, Bramson, Cagan, Ferguson, Fertig, Laforest, Lee, Robinson, Smith, Spooner, Zakiya
1 No - Bryant (Barry had not yet joined the call)

Discussion that next in person meeting needs to be after board receives auditors report, which is now anticipated to be by August 1st.

Motion by Spooner to set next in person iPNB meeting for NY the weekend of
August 15-17
Approved without objection

(Marion Barry joined the call after the vote)

Discussion of when the board should meet to vote on the bylaws was ruled out of order by the chair, as not part of the agenda for this special meeting. Suggestion by Spooner to meet again in one week to set schedule for vote on the bylaws was met with objections. The Chair will send notice to the iPNB of when we will meet to set schedule for bylaws vote.
