Indra Hardat appointed WBAI interim General Manager 5-16-05 |
Indra Hardat was appointed WBAI interim General Manager starting May 16, 2005. Before this time, Indra worked as WBAI's business manager for seven years. She has a reputation for honesty and hard work. Staff was very supportive of her when her appointment was announced a few weeks ago. A search for permanent GM will commence soon. Below is a memo from outgoing GM Don Rojas announcing Indra's hiring: Date: Wed, 11 May 2005 12:02:36 -0400 Dear Colleagues, I'm delighted to congratulate Indra Hardat on her appointment as Interim General Manager of WBAI-Pacifica Radio. Indra will assume her new responsibilities on May 16. Indra is eminently qualified for the position of IGM and I have full confidence in her abilities, competence and integrity. I pledge my support to Indra and look forward to working closely with her in the days ahead to ensure a smooth transition from my administration to hers. I urge all staff members to offer Indra your support, cooperation and encouragement.
