WBAI of the air - seeks ISDN unit
9-12-01

( original message at bottom )

Editor's note (couldn't resist stating the obvious): It's precisely times like now, when the people like the current U.S. president and the institutions that he is allied with are ratcheting up the insanity and spin that we need Pacifica the most. I volunteer many hours a week to maintaining this site because the real Pacifica eternally earned my loyalty during the Persian gulf war and other times when WBAI was the lifeline to essential information and viewpoints. WE MUST REGAIN PACIFICA NOW!!

Hi Don-

I would check to see if Garland Ganter in Housotn still has the ISDN unit that he used to divert KPFT's signal to Berkeley.

His phone number is 713-526-4000 ext 310

Good luck

Gee, I wonder if DCTV in Chinatown would let them borrow Amy's studio? <grin> Anyway, this seems to explain why WBAI went off the air last night.
