The East Asia Radio Collective of WBAI supports Affirmative Action. Asians are "the invisible minority" and we have hit the glass ceiling in Pacifica. There is no East Asian programming at WBAI. There are no Asians on ANY LAB or on the iPNB. Except for times of crisis there is no coverage of East Asia on the air.

Diversity in Pacifica is treated like a Black and white issue. Along with the Chicano, Mejicano, Latino and Indigenous Peoples we demand real inclusion in Pacifica. We are not a goal.

After 500 years of European domination the iPNB can afford 5 days or 5 weeks to include the unrepresented in determining our own destiny in our own organization.
